This weekend the Cathedral Floodgate in Poznań will be available for the public for the first time. This section of the historic fortifications will be set on display during an event called Poznań Fortress Days. Visitors will have an opportunity to see this old piece of fortification as well as to meet various historical military units and soldiers. Among them you can find NAM which will show a sort of equipment from the Vietnam War. The event will consist of sightseeing, lectures and historical reenactment staging.

Event’s short programme

• Saturday, August 24, 2013 – tours at 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, 19:00.
• Sunday, August 25, 2013 – tours at 10:00, 14:00, 15:00.

The meeting point for each tour group is the Jordan Bridge in Poznań.
